As the ethnic cleansing campaign in 1992 begun many civilians participated in the attacks and helped the VRS to carry out murder, rape, torture and violent displacement against the non-serb population. A family of six lived in this house in Sase, east Bosnia, two women, two men and two young children. They were separated by gender and the women and young daughter were first brought away on trucks, after 15 minutes the perpetrators came back and took the men and three year old son. The whole family disappeared for ever and no one was ever indicted for these crimes.
