Srebrenica, east Bosnia. On the 13th of July 1995 about 1,200 captives from the column of civilians and soldiers who were trying to break through to Tuzla were brought to the football stadium in Nova Kasaba. They were addressed by Gen. Ratko Mladić who promised that they would not be harmed. After that, the detainees were deported to the Petkovci school and later that night brought by trucks to the Petkovci dam and executed. Others were killed near to the football field or on the way to the Petkovci school. Most of the detainees were taken to the Branjevo military farm on the 14th of July and executed two days later.
